Deploy a Kubernetes Cluster Using Amazon EKS with New Quick Start

This Quick Start automatically deploys a Kubernetes cluster that uses Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), enabling you to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications running on Kubernetes on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. The deployment takes about 25 minutes. Amazon EKS runs the Kubernetes management infrastructure for you across multiple AWS Availability Zones to eliminate a single point of failure. Amazon EKS is also certified Kubernetes-conformant.
This reference deployment provides custom resources that enable you to deploy and manage your Kubernetes applications using AWS CloudFormation by declaring Kubernetes manifests or Helm charts directly in AWS CloudFormation templates.
This Quick Start is intended for users who are looking for a repeatable, customizable reference deployment for Amazon EKS using AWS CloudFormation.
To get started:

View the deployment guide for step-by-step instructions

Download the AWS CloudFormation templates that automate the deployment

For additional AWS Quick Start reference deployments, see catalog.
